Dealing with age-old patterns that seem to overwhelm you? Not feeling good enough, no matter how hard you try or how far you reach? It can be so taxing to feel so out of place in your own life. Amidst this chaos, I want to offer clients a therapeutic environment that prioritises safety, care and collaboration
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, and emotional regulation challenges. I strive to support clients in cultivating resilience and self-compassion and creating reflective spaces where clients can explore their experiences and develop emotional awareness at a pace that suits them best.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and guided by the client’s pace and emotional readiness. I draw from person-centred, trauma-informed, narrative, cognitive-behavioural, and relevant modalities, adapting them flexibly in practice. Further, narrative therapy appeals to me because it views individuals as separate from and beyond their problems and emphasises meaning-making. This perspective understands the external forces that relationships, culture, and power play and posits how even setbacks are seen as part of the journey and often mix spaces for that. Additionally, person-centred therapy forms the ethical and relational foundation of my work. Creating a safe, non-judgmental space allows clients to explore difficult emotions, fear of evaluation, fostering self-trust and emotional safety.
I believe that lived experience has the highest merit, and understanding where you are coming from involves clear and honest communication and the ability to hold each other accountable. My therapeutic stance is grounded in empathy, reflective listening, and curiosity. Rather than positioning therapy as problem-fixing, I view it as a collaborative process of meaning-making, strengthening inner resources, and supporting clients in reconnecting with their sense of agency.
Outside of work, I enjoy doing puzzles, reading (probably a trashy rom-com), watching movies (probably a trashy rom-com), and going on runs.
