Hi! I’m a Clinical Psychologist. I completed my M.Phil. from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Jaipur. My inclination is towards cognitive therapies and I primarily use CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and EFT. I have experience in treating individuals with a variety of clinical disorders like depression, anxiety, personality disorders and so on. I have also trained at specialised centers for substance use, autism, and cancer patients. I specialise in sex-related issues having worked extensively with the LGBTQIA+ population, young adults, women with infertility and couples facing sexual difficulties. This has also been my primary area of research. To unwind, I read, shop, or listen to music. In my leisure time, I write fiction.

FAQs

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I was an undergraduate pursuing BA (H) Economics from DU when I actively worked with the pride community for its decriminalisation. It sensitised me to the various psychological challenges faced by its members as well as others. I experienced a shift in perspective and decided to switch my career path from one in economics to mental healthcare. I did volunteer work and activities and internships in the field in diverse settings and decided to become a therapist.
