With a profound commitment to the field of Clinical Psychology, I have found my career to be both professionally and personally enriching. My journey began with a BSc in Clinical Psychology, followed by MSc, and I pursued MPhil to become a licensed psychotherapist. My experiences have fostered growth across multiple dimensions like empathy, competence, personal growth, critical thinking, clinical judgement among others enhancing my ability to support clients effectively. I have worked with individuals of various ages, addressing a wide range of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, Crisis Situations, Dissociative Disorders, and OCD among others. My approach is evidence-based and eclectic, allowing me to integrate effective elements from diverse therapeutic models including but not limited to CBT, DBT, MBCT, and Psychoanalysis into tailored treatment plans. Outside of work, I enjoy reading fictional books, cooking, and travelling.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I have always valued friendships and relationships. When I left home to embark on an educational journey,I went through some tough times that made me really appreciate the need for someone who truly listens. Even though I was surrounded by people who cared, I often felt like I didn’t have that kind of support when I needed it most. This experience made me realise how important it is to be there for others in the same way, and it motivated me to find ways to offer that kind of listening ear to those who need it. And when I discovered a role that allowed me to do just that, I embraced it wholeheartedly. As I delved deeper into this work, I found it to be an excellent fit for my skills and passion. The experience of assisting individuals through emotional and behavioral difficulties has been fulfilling.
