FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I have always valued friendships and relationships. When I left home to embark on an educational journey,I went through some tough times that made me really appreciate the need for someone who truly listens. Even though I was surrounded by people who cared, I often felt like I didn’t have that kind of support when I needed it most. This experience made me realise how important it is to be there for others in the same way, and it motivated me to find ways to offer that kind of listening ear to those who need it. And when I discovered a role that allowed me to do just that, I embraced it wholeheartedly. As I delved deeper into this work, I found it to be an excellent fit for my skills and passion. The experience of assisting individuals through emotional and behavioral difficulties has been fulfilling.
