My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own mental health struggles. I felt stagnant and believed personal change was impossible. However, studying psychology in school transformed my perspective. Learning about defense mechanisms and cognitive therapies revealed the potential for growth within everyone. This realization, during my bachelor's studies, highlighted the transformative power of therapy. Witnessing its impact on people's lives inspired me. By the end of my degree, I was certain: I wanted to become a therapist.
