Sometimes, it feels like we have been holding life together with duct tape and willpower. You keep smiling, showing up, and getting things done - but underneath it feels like you’re carrying the weight of the world and can’t find the words to explain it. The heaviness lingers even when you’re “functioning” on the outside. Maybe you’ve told yourself, “I’m fine… okay, I’m not fine,” or “I don’t want to be a burden” but kept going because falling apart didn’t feel like an option - you’re not alone and you don’t have to keep doing it alone. With me, you don’t need a perfect explanation for why you feel the way you do. This space is for you to stumble through your words, cry, go quiet, or even make a joke - to exhale, drop the act, and maybe even laugh at the absurd parts of being human. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you - you’re not broken. I work with people who feel worn out from trying so hard yet fear being “too much” or falling short. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, notice patterns that keep you stuck, and try small, doable shifts to make life feel less overwhelming - whether that’s softening your inner critic, asking for help without guilt, or noticing moments of calm. And yes, sometimes we’ll laugh - not at your pain, but at the shared absurdities of being human - so you can leave each session with relief, clarity, and the sense that even if life isn’t perfect, maybe it’s going to be okay.
When emotions hit like a sudden downpour and your mind won’t stop looping the same worries, I help you find steadiness using skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We’ll practice slowing things down, regaining your footing, and making choices that feel calmer and more in control. On days when past experiences still cast a long shadow, we’ll start by creating safety and stability so your mind and body can rest, then gently explore what’s been holding you back - always at your pace. I value cultural sensitivity, sex positivity, and inclusivity, especially with the LGBTQ+ community, and believe that a touch of gentle humor can make therapy feel warmer and less intimidating, especially if starting therapy feels scary.
When I’m not in session, you’ll usually find me with friends, lingering over good meals, and chasing life’s small pleasures - preferably the kind that don’t require a calendar reminder.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I’ve always believed that the hardest part of struggling isn’t just the problem itself—it’s feeling alone in it. Growing up, I had to learn how to sit with difficult emotions without many distractions, which highlighted how isolating it can feel when you don’t have support in those moments. This is what led me to become a therapist – it felt like a natural outcome as it allowed me to be that anchor for others—the person who helps make things feel a little less overwhelming, a little less lonely. There’s something truly meaningful about creating a space where someone feels safe enough to be real—perhaps in ways they haven’t been before and thus it’s been my honor to offer that same support to others through my work.
