Why did you choose to become a therapist?
This was a profession that intrigued me ever since my childhood. While studying extensively for higher education, I realised how much we lagged behind in understanding mental health, mental illness and mental well being. I also felt that the fight against stigma related to mental health is a task that clinicians can achieve through having a transparent approach towards our clients in our sessions. This motivated me to become a therapist.
