I offer mental health care for individuals aged 8–25.
Soumya is a psychologist and narrative therapist who finds meaning in working alongside young people to co-create safe, respectful therapeutic spaces that honour their concerns, hopes, strengths, and interests. Her practice centers collaboration and dignity, while also attending to the ways in which social, cultural and systemic contexts shape individual experiences.
She works across a range of socio-emotional concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image, trauma, experiences of violence and adversity, as well as parenting, interpersonal, and family processes. She has a keen interest in developing practices grounded in strength-based approaches, intersectionality, neurodiversity, and community mental health, alongside engaging in training and outreach.
Between reading and reflecting, she likes engaging with research, community knowledge, and evolving frameworks of teaching and practice.
