I am a psychologist at Amaha and have completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology from Manipal University. I keep a non-judgmental and empathetic attitude toward my clients and I am committed to helping them become independent and lead more fulfilling lives. My approach to therapy is client-centred and eclectic; and I use techniques from CBT, Existential and Interpersonal schools of therapy to bring about change. I have had previous experience working with young adults and am adept at handling anxiety and mood-related issues as well as personality disorders. I believe that everyone requires support at some point in their lives and recognizing your needs and seeking help is the first step to committing to your own growth! I wish to help my clients further their personal growth by collaboratively setting goals based on each individual's needs and working together towards achieving them through the course of therapy. I believe in making the world a kinder and healthier place by spreading awareness regarding psychological issues and making mental health care accessible and affordable to everyone irrespective of their gender, sexuality, religion, caste or beliefs. I am also a huge believer in the power of nature, music, stories and heartfelt conversations. Whenever I get the chance, I love to sing, travel, watch movies, read books and spend time with friends.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
Since a young age, I have been interested in learning people's stories. Over time, I naturally gravitated towards psychology due to my curiosity about the way people think and behave and my passion for helping those in need. I also saw around me the unhappiness and injustice caused by the lack of awareness of mental health concerns and effective ways of dealing with them. This led to a personal desire in me to advocate for mental health and be a voice for the disempowered. I believe that everyone requires support and direction while navigating the challenges of life. I want to give back to society by being the empathetic ear that listens to your problems without judgement and helps you become the best version of yourself!
