Hello! I am a Senior Consultant Psychologist at Amaha with an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Manipal College of Health Professions, Manipal. My training has provided me with extensive experience in working with individuals across diverse age groups, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, adult ADHD, personality difficulties, sleeping disorders, eating disorders and interpersonal issues. I am deeply committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients feel empowered to share their experiences. Guided by a client-centred approach, I prioritize collaboration in therapy, working as an equal with my clients toward a shared goal of healing and growth. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and other mindfulness-based interventions. I find it important to tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs. Grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, I strive to provide care that acknowledges the impact of trauma on an individual’s life, ensuring sensitivity and support throughout the therapeutic process. Outside work, I enjoy nature walks and savouring delicious, mouthwatering food.

FAQs
FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I was drawn to psychology because it offered the chance to better understand myself and human behavior in general. Seven years into this journey, I haven’t looked back. I love how this field has deepened my understanding of human behavior and enabled me to find ways to help others on their healing journeys. It resonates with me because, at times, everyone needs a helping hand when they feel lost. This profession has given me the resources to be that guiding hand, supporting others in finding their path and helping them lead more meaningful lives.

Still have questions, or just need to talk it through? We’re here to help no matter what you’re looking for, or where you're starting from.
