“Is therapy just a crutch?” is a common question I have heard people ask when they are contemplating seeking therapy. I believe effective therapy is the exact opposite - a bolster that helps you take a moment to sit, hold your breath and find your footing, while you do the courageous work of healing. This space will help you break down your thoughts, find what's in your control, and act mindfully to resolve the challenges you may be facing. As a therapist, I use an integrative approach, which means I tailor the therapy to you, drawing my practice from evidence based modalities, life experiences, and deep empathy. Through my training, I’ve worked with people who felt disconnected or uninterested in life, carried a constant sense of uneasiness, struggled to maintain relationships, questioned their self-image, felt low on motivation, or found it hard to stay present in the moment, among many other concerns. I use a schema focused lens to help individuals struggling with repeated patterns of painful experiences in relationships or with their sense of self. When your emotions feel too big, too fast, or too heavy to carry, we will work together to make them feel more manageable. Feeling stuck can be paralyzing, and moving forward may seem uncertain or overwhelming. In those moments, we’ll gently reconnect with what truly matters to you and use those values as an anchor - helping you take one small step forward at a time. Having experienced the therapeutic process from both sides of the conversation, my journey has taught me the profound value of having a safe, non-judgmental space to understand these challenges. In sessions, you may see me share personal reflections - not just as a therapist, but as a fellow human who understands that we are all doing our best to find our way. Outside of the therapeutic space, I enjoy both the light-hearted conversations that bring laughter and the deep, challenging ones that act as a gym for the mind. As a professional Bharatanatyam dancer, I'm often reconnecting with myself through music and movement. I also love listening to harmonies that add layers to music - it’s the best way for me to unwind and express myself. A great feel-good playlist (K-dramas topping the list) are my secret to staying grounded.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
My journey of becoming a therapist began with my own experiences as an adolescent and a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since: how do we navigate the complexities of our inner worlds and become more authentic versions of ourselves?
Through a combination of meaningful conversations, my own therapy, and deep self-reflection, I learned the importance of self-awareness. Understanding what works for us and what doesn't is the key to navigating life's challenges with ease and authenticity.
