We are all driving a car on a road going somewhere in some direction. The roads we take aren’t free from bumpers, there are potholes, dirt, smooth and rough roads, and it feels irritating at times for sure. Having said that, what matters is whether we believe in the direction we have taken, whether we value the journey we are taking and whether where we want to reach matters.
Hello! I am a RCI Registered Clinical Psychologist and I shall be exploring this journey of life with you so that eventually you find yourself and get clarity about what you actually value in life, so that you drive the car towards a direction you want rather than towards a direction where you are told.
Apart from being a Therapist with over 7 years of experience, I am also a Researcher and a former Assistant Professor passionate about mentoring the next generation of psychologists. In my experience so far, I have been privileged enough to work with clients facing a broad spectrum of challenges, ranging from overthinking, procrastination, anxiety and depression to OCD, personality disorders, relationship, marital and sexual concerns. I have also dealt with workplace-related stress management, career and academic doubts and concerns. I believe in understanding my client’s unique context and plan my therapy accordingly, tailoring each intervention to the unique needs and life circumstances of my client.
For me, the heart of therapy lies in increasing a person’s self-awareness and resilience so that success at work and life doesn’t focus on avoiding setbacks, but taking actions on rising effectively from them so that we move towards living a life we sincerely and genuinely value. It is okay to not be okay, but do remember that healing is not about how many times you fall; it is about how quickly you rise.
Welcome to this journey!

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
Rather than consciously choosing to become a therapist, I feel that therapy gradually chose me. My fascination with the diverse branches and concepts of psychology has always kept me engaged with the field. Over time, personal experiences deepened my understanding that psychological insight can transform how we live and view the world. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural extension of my desire to help others discover their inner strength, clarify their core values, and take meaningful steps toward living more fulfilling lives. I see myself as a 'wounded healer,' someone who has grown through their own challenges and is committed to guiding others through theirs.
