I am a person who is curious about human behaviour and emotions. I believe that empathy and unconditional positive regard are the foundation to help a person feel supported and understood; allowing them to grow into the healthiest version of themselves. My curiosity about the human mind led me to pursue psychology. I completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology and love working and interacting with everyone from children to adults. While interacting with my clients, I follow a blend of Humanistic and Cognitive approaches. I have worked with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, OCD, and challenges related to self-esteem. In the past, I have also worked on developing children’s social and emotional skills. In my free time, you will usually find me hanging out with my friends or watching movies/series. I also am an explorer and learner of art forms like singing, dancing, and acting.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

The inspiration of becoming a therapist came from my curiosity to know more about people and the reason behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am a person who gets immense satisfaction from getting to know people and interacting with them about their lives and the challenges they face. As a therapist, I get to do that a lot while being a witness to their journey of growth. I hope to provide therapeutic access to as many people as possible and hopefully contribute to minimizing the taboo around the field of mental health.
