I offer mental health care for individuals aged 8–25.

I am Sandra Jose, a Counselling Psychologist, Narrative and Arts- Based Therapist. I also lead the Mental Health Services at Children First. My work involves conducting intake sessions, providing therapy and carrying out psychoeducational assessment. Over the years, working closely with children, youth and families, has deepened my understanding of diverse socio-emotional challenges, mental health concerns and neurodivergence. I hold a systemic approach in therapeutic work, with an intent to co-create a safe space where we can explore concerns, understand their impact, and work collaboratively to identify the way forward. I believe that every child/individual is uniquely wired and inspired, with their own strengths and ways of expressing themselves. Together, with the team at Children First, I am committed to fostering a community of care and concern for children and youth.
