All of us need a space to feel heard. Someone to hear us, our words, and just let us unwind. When things get tough and we feel like we are getting lost in finding our way around life, all we want is someone with whom we can share the burdens in our heart and someone who can be a helping hand. As a psychotherapist, my aim is to create a space where you can just be yourself—whether that means speaking whatever comes to your mind, sitting together in silence, sharing a laugh, or even me holding space when you go through difficult emotions or feelings.
Therapy in itself is a journey where we slowly make sense of things. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out this instant. We will move at your pace, while also using the tools and techniques that will help you feel more in control and grounded.
I work with individuals dealing with a wide range of concerns like self doubt, negative thoughts, overthinking, emotional concerns as well those dealing with substances, adjustment related concerns and other mental health disorders. I maintain an eclectic approach in therapy by combining tools and techniques from Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Altogether, I am interested in you as a person, interested to listen to your life journey.
When I’m not a psychotherapist, I’m a person who enjoys the simple things in life—cooking, journaling, creating mandalas, reading history books and about society, or spending time with the street dogs.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
My encounter with Psychology began when I gave a Career Aptitude test during my formative years. That was the first time I met a psychologist. That day I first learnt that there is an entire field dedicated to the dynamics of human interaction and their impact on daily life. It touched my heart that there are people in this world whose profession is dedicated to understanding a person’s current distressful situations and figuring it out together in a collaborative setup. That experience made me feel more aligned with who I am and illuminated the path for me to choose Psychology. And as luck would have it, my aptitude results pointed at Psychology as a prospective career and here I am!
