I have been passionate about psychology since high school, where I got my first glimpse into understanding and interpreting human behaviour. Training and getting into practice has made my passion grow consistently. I enjoy doing therapy as it gives me an opportunity to understand human emotions and learn from the interactions which I have during a session. I have grown to understand and appreciate individual differences and how they impact our lives. Psychology has helped me know myself more and provided an opportunity to look inwards as well. Beyond clinical practice, I enjoy working with schools, and raising mental health awareness. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, and writing, in my free time.

FAQs
FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?

My interest in Psychology came from fascination with the subject, and from there it became more focused on mental health. As part of my graduate internship, I visited the Psychiatry Ward at a government hospital and seeing mental illnesses in their most severe and intense form, I realised that I wanted to work with it. In short, I felt that mental health was essential to how we lived our lives and I wanted to contribute to people living their best lives. I also realised that mental health was not seen as the essential part of the well-being puzzle - so I wanted to bring attention to it and support it.
