Hi, I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy often comes with uncertainty, vulnerability, and a quiet hope that things can feel different - and I want you to know that your presence here already matters. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear story yet; we can take this one step at a time, together.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with several years of clinical experience. I began my work at NIMHANS and have since led and developed clinical services at premier neuropsychiatric hospitals, including leading a Perinatal Mental Health team in Bangalore for the past six years. I have extensive experience working with adults with emotional and attachment difficulties. My work is grounded in attachment-based and trauma-focused approaches, shaped by a deep curiosity about how early experiences influence our sense of self and relationships. I am a certified Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT) Practitioner, with particular expertise in working with Borderline Personality Disorder. I also hold special interest in working with the perinatal population i.e. supporting individuals and couples through pre conception, pregnancy and postpartum, fertility, and IVF-related concerns. My work spans clinical practice, supervision, training, and research, and I approach therapy as a collaborative process that unfolds at a pace that feels right for you.
Beyond my clinical practice, I value continuous personal and professional growth. I enjoy outdoor sports, theatre, and travel, and remain committed to lifelong learning and skill development.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I chose to become a therapist out of a deep curiosity about human emotions, relationships, and the ways in which early experiences shape who we become. Over time, this curiosity grew into a commitment to help people make sense of their inner worlds, especially during periods of vulnerability and transition. Being able to sit with individuals in their distress, offer a safe and reflective space, and support meaningful psychological change continues to be deeply fulfilling for me.
