There’s something quietly brave about showing up with a story that’s been held in for too long. If you're here, maybe a part of you is ready to begin. Your pain is real, and choosing to seek support is no small thing. Take a moment to acknowledge that. We’ll go slowly, there’s no rush. Let’s begin with your story. I practice Trauma-Informed Therapy, which means I hold space with care, without judgment, and with deep respect for what you’ve lived through. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - a therapy approach that helps us make room for difficult emotions, let go of old patterns, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned with our values. Alongside ACT, I draw from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema-Focused Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, offering support that is structured, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate. There are no magic tricks here. We work together with honesty, gentleness, and a little curiosity. Some days will feel heavier than others, but healing isn’t about doing it perfectly. It’s about showing up, and I’ll be here to walk with you as we understand, heal, and gently grow. And when I’m not in therapy spaces, you’ll usually find me reading fiction, singing out of tune, making mandala art, or trying (and often failing) to crochet something.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I chose to become a therapist because of my personal experiences and observations of mental health concerns among family and friends, combined with the noticeable dearth of mental health professionals in my community a few years ago. These experiences deeply resonated with me and highlighted the urgent need for accessible mental health care. At the heart of my decision was a firm belief that humans possess an innate ability to lead better and more fulfilling lives when provided with the right nurturance and support. This belief continues to inspire my work, as I strive to create safe and compassionate spaces where individuals can explore their challenges, build resilience, and unlock their potential for growth and healing.
