Reaching out for help takes courage. The journey that you’re going to embark upon won’t be the easiest, but it will be deeply rewarding and I am here to support you on every step of the way. In therapy, I will create a safe and supportive space wherein you can gain greater emotional understanding and self-awareness. In our sessions, you'll be able to address your concerns in an environment that is both nurturing and free of judgment. While a basic clinical structure rooted in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) is maintained, each session is flexible and tailored to your unique strengths and needs. Through CBT we’ll be addressing maladaptive thoughts to reshape them into healthy and adaptive thoughts. We’ll be working upon emotions largely using the DBT approach. I also incorporate an art-based approach to help clients verbalise their feelings and a schema approach to address deep-rooted patterns. I don't believe in a rigid, one-size-fits-all model, as I've learned that every client brings a unique set of experiences and goals to work upon. Thus, we’ll continue to vary our approach based on what works best for you. As a therapist, I aspire to elevate mental healthcare to the same level as physical healthcare by providing compassionate, safe, and accessible support to everyone.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I’ve always been intrigued by the nature of the human mind and behaviour. My aspiration has been to help individuals navigate life by combining their skills and resources with professional guidance. The desire to create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of others led me to choose this field. The dynamic nature of therapy, with its constantly evolving techniques and approaches, drives me to continually improve and learn every day. I aspire to elevate the importance of mental health care to the same level as physical health care by providing compassionate, safe, and accessible mental health support for all.
