Psychology was not my first career option. I studied commerce for 5 years, somehow managed to thrive but was not happy with my everyday life. I heard about psychology from someone and started reading on the subject. The subject touched my core. It resonated with me. Schools of psychology interested me much more than any balance sheets ever could. I switched my career, immersed myself in Freud's, Erikson's and Jung's theories and the subject accepted me with open arms. Everything followed organically and here I am a licensed clinical psychologist who feels immense gratitude everyday for being able to follow my gut and getting introduced to this field.
