Hi! If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or carrying a sense of quiet dissatisfaction, therapy can be a space to pause and feel supported. I work with people who are often struggling silently because sometimes, what helps most is having someone listen and understand. I’m a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. My training and clinical experience have shaped how I understand mental health, not as a set of symptoms, but as something deeply connected to each person’s context, relationships, and lived story. I work with concerns such as anxiety, low mood, trauma, overthinking, obsessive-compulsive difficulties, self-limiting beliefs, identity-related challenges, and long-standing emotional patterns. My approach is evidence-based yet flexible, drawing from multiple therapeutic frameworks because therapy looks different for everyone. I place strong emphasis on creating a space that is culturally sensitive, queer-affirmative, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental. I see therapy as a collaborative process and move at a pace that feels right for you, helping you gently untangle what’s been keeping you stuck. Outside the therapy space, I enjoy reading, writing, and creative pursuits that help me stay grounded. These quieter moments remind me that healing often unfolds in small, everyday ways.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I often like to think of my reason for becoming a therapist as a natural calling. I first stumbled upon psychology as an area of interest when I first read a book on social psychology during my higher secondary education while trying to find my way out of studying science. I found myself being pulled towards the field from that moment onwards. When I first officially studied it as a course what struck a chord with me the most was my specialization and I knew that this is the field I want to be in. Mental health is something I feel strongly about. Understanding the intricacies of something so layered yet beautiful and wanting to know the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind them contributed to it further. I deeply respect psychotherapy as a profession, the way it helps individuals by helping them build skills that last lifelong - and this coupled with my love for psychology propelled my path towards a career as a psychotherapist.
