Hello, I am an RCI registered Clinical Psychologist with a professional experience of more than 9 years. I believe that therapy is for all and not just for individuals with any diagnosed mental health condition.Therapy fosters self growth and helps explore the deeper meaning behind one’s actions, thoughts and emotions. Just like we choose to stay fit physically in the absence of any severe physical health condition, similarly we can choose the same for our mind. My approach to therapy is to provide a non-judgemental space to my clients so that they feel safe to be vulnerable. This has been found to be helpful in addressing the concerns that an individual comes with and getting an in-depth understanding of themselves. This safe space facilitates proper therapeutic goals. Through the past 6 years, I have worked with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical conditions like Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, Personality related concerns, Stress, Self-esteem concerns, Relationship Issues, Sleep issues, Grief. I take an eclectic approach to therapy to suit an individual's needs and concerns. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based approaches, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focussed Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy are mostly used in my therapeutic practice. I am also a Queer Affirmative therapist. Apart from work, I enjoy travelling and spending quality time with friends and family. I believe self-care is also important and hence prioritise all activities that help me stay physically and mentally fit.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?
As an individual, I was exposed to the concept of mental well-being quite early in my life which built a keen interest in me to understand the motivation behind the actions of individuals. With more academic exposure to this subject, my interest in understanding human behavior continued to grow. With therapy, my aim is to address the stigma associated with mental health and promote well-being.
