Hello there! I'm a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 5 years of experience in the field. I've received extensive training in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions and assessments, covering areas such as intelligence, personality, disability, aptitude, and neuropsychology. My main focus has been working with young adults, adolescents, and children, assisting them with a wide range of diagnoses including mood disorders, anxiety-related disorders, personality disorders, stress, trauma-related disorders, as well as everyday challenges, interpersonal conflicts, and existential issues.
In my therapeutic practice, I adopt an intersectional, eclectic, and person-centric approach borrowing strategies from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Focused Therapy. I believe in considering the biopsychosocial and systems perspective, recognizing that each individual is unique and influenced by both their biology and environment. Establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients is of utmost importance to me, and I highly value this connection.
One core belief that underlies my work is the inherent resilience of the human spirit. When working with my clients, I intend to view them through a lens that highlights their strengths and inner resources. As such, I actively incorporate mindfulness and acceptance into my sessions. I place a strong emphasis on the power of human connection and the profound significance of discovering meaning in one's life.
Beyond my professional endeavours, I have a lifelong passion for learning and I'm an avid reader. I constantly seek out new knowledge and strive to expand my understanding of psychology, philosophy, and the world at large. To find balance, I thoroughly enjoy engaging in travel and outdoor activities like backpacking and hiking, and recently, motorcycle riding. Additionally, I’m a dedicated practitioner of yoga.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I decided to become a therapist because I have a deep fascination with the human mind, a genuine curiosity about people's experiences, and a strong desire to contribute to the well-being of individuals. I could say it's my way of actively working towards making the world a better place.
