Hey there! I am a Clinical Psychologist with an MSc and MPhil from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). My training has allowed me to work with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, communication challenges, complex emotions, life transitions, personality difficulties, relationship struggles, and attentional hurdles, among others. As a therapist, I’ve honed my skills in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions, all from a trauma-informed perspective. I believe that therapy is not a ‘one-formula-fits-all’ process and strive to tailor my interventions to the unique needs and experiences of each individual. Outside of work, you’ll often find me making a perfect cup of chai to share with friends, sketching or illustrating, immersing myself in music (and occasionally singing along), catching up on meaningful conversations, or watching a good movie.

FAQs
FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I chose to become a therapist because I've always been driven to understanding people on a deeper level - what shapes them, how they navigate the complexities of life, what hurts and heals them. Growing up, I often found myself holding space for others and simply listening. My own experiences navigating challenges, motivates me to create and hold an empathetic and safe space for others, especially those who may feel unseen or unheard.

Testimonials
I’ve had such a wonderful experience with Meghana as my therapist. She’s been so kind, understanding, and a great listener. These past eight months with her have been such an eye-opener and have really helped me feel better about myself. She’s been there for me through some tough times and has helped me find faith in myself again. I would definitely recommend amaha and Meghana to friends and family. :)- Anonymous
