I’ve always been fascinated by neuroplasticity – the brain’s incredible ability to reorganize, learn, and adapt throughout our lifespan. In other words, we can control the way we think, what we believe in, and how we behave. While it sounds simple, it can be quite challenging to change longstanding habits, especially when our thought and response patterns are built from early experiences or significant events. This is where my job comes in.
I believe people are inherently good and that our values and actions are largely shaped by the dynamic relationship with our environments. Life can get hard sometimes. My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we navigate some of the challenges you’ve been experiencing and work together to find ways to move through them.
My therapeutic approach is person-centred and draws from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This means I will be adapting therapy to your unique needs as opposed to employing a standardized approach.
When I’m not at work, I find joy in strength training and running to bakeries for sweet treats. I also love re-watching the same five sitcoms for the 50th time and ‘ugly singing’ to myself.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I always found it a bit disheartening how people are quick to seek help for their physical health, but often treat their emotional struggles as permanent personality traits. I decided to pursue this field to bridge that gap and provide a space where mental and emotional well-being are treated with the same urgency, respect, and care as a physical health issue.
