It can feel overwhelming to come to therapy and begin to pour out parts of yourself you've held in for so long. But you're not alone anymore. When we work together, my goal is to create a safe space for you to share these aspects freely. Let us explore and make sense of these parts together. I am a Consultant Psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. In my work so far, I have had the opportunity to walk alongside individuals who have come to me saying “I feel so tired”, “I keep overthinking everything”, “I feel really stressed” and have helped them make sense of what they’re going through and find ways to move forward. If your thoughts feel like they’re constantly running in the background and you just want some relief, I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), where we understand where these thoughts come from, identify unhelpful patterns, and explore how we can gently shift them into something kinder and more comforting. We will also look at how we can make you feel more supported by building tools that you can use to manage these stressful thoughts. When I am not working, you can find me watching Anime, coloring, or playing a video game. I’m all about making connections and making a difference, no matter how small. Listening, understanding, and offering support to those who need it is what I’m here for.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

During my 11th and 12th I was introduced to psychology as a subject for the first time. As simple as it may seem, the professor who taught this subject influenced my decision to pursue this subject further. Something I took away from her teaching that influenced my decision is that mental health is trivialised to a large extent and it shouldn't be so. If anything it should be given equal importance as physical health because of how negatively consequential mental illness can be to an individual. During my academic journey I learnt more about the nuances of psychology and realised that I want to be able to put my knowledge and skills to use to help people and make it a kinder place for all of us.

Kruthi as been really helpful throughout my journey. She is a very good listener and hence I get the motivation to schedule more and more sessions with her. - Anonymous
