Life may sometimes feel like a race, but it’s not. And even when it feels like one, it’s important to remind yourself that you don’t have to run every race. It’s okay to take your time and care for yourself; it’s okay to slow down. It’s not always easy, but it’s deeply important - because you are important. That’s why the effort you put into therapy matters. As your therapist, I’ll be by your side on this journey, helping you learn how to care for yourself with kindness, patience, and authenticity. My approach is collaborative and grounded in empathy, where I aim to empower my clients and encourage autonomy. I work with clients who say they feel too much or their mind is always running - clients with depression and anxiety disorders, who struggle with perfectionism and burnout. In our work together, I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). These approaches help us connect thoughts, emotions, and actions; stay with and express emotions adaptively; foster acceptance; identify practical solutions and overcome barriers; and explore ways to build a life that feels meaningful and true to your values, while working together to understand what helps or gets in the way. When I'm not working, you will find me listening, singing or dancing to Bollywood songs, watching a Korean or Thai drama or soap ASMR videos.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

All of us are unique in our own ways. Despite our differences, we have our similarities - our kindness, our resilience, the way all of us have our own dreams and aspirations that we work on despite our struggles. I became a therapist because I wanted to help people on their journeys of becoming the best possible versions of themselves. Because sometimes our own mind can be our worst critic - a critic that constantly lives in and with us. I want to empower people to be kinder to themselves on their journey of growth - so they can not only silence their inner critic but also hopefully one day, become their own cheerleader.
