Hello.I am a Counselling Psychologist, Art Therapy Practitioner and a Ph.D Scholar. I have pursued my M.Sc in Counselling Psychology from Montfort College, Bangalore. I am associated with the British Psychological Society (MBPsS). My approach to therapy is queer affirmative and eclectic, with a lean towards Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Transactional Analysis. I am also very interested in the Narrative Therapy school of thought that runs on the idea that individuals can change the story they’re holding about themselves which leads to empowerment. I have studied the effect of mandala colouring on the state of anxiety of individuals. I have a keen interest in dwelling deeper into exploring the relationship between grief and attachment styles of individuals as well as on the relationship between fashion and a sense of self. My clinical interests are concerning areas of anxiety and grief as well as fashion psychology.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I've always been interested in the field of psychology since a young age. This led me to read more about the subject and eventually build a career for myself. My interest majorly stemmed from my curiosity to understand the human mind and why people behave the way they do. This in turn, led me to understand myself better. I strongly believe that individuals can heal and grow if they're given a space where they're respected, supported, seen and most importantly heard. Pursuing psychology gives me the privilege and chance to be a part of this journey, and make a positive impact, and that made me sure of my decision to become a psychotherapist.

"I have nothing but positive feedback to share. Working with her has really helped me in so many ways, and I’ve felt consistently supported throughout the process. She brings a wonderful mix of enthusiasm and compassion to every session, which makes it easy to open up and stay engaged. Her energy is always uplifting, and her thoughtful approach has made a genuine difference in my mental health journey. I would gladly give her a 5/5 for the care and commitment she brings. I’m truly grateful for all the support she’s provided."- Anonymous
