I believe that humans have innate potential to grow when they receive unconditional acceptance and warmth. My work, as a therapist, is to build on this belief. I have completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Maniben Nanavati Women’s College and a certification in Expressive Arts in Therapy from The Secret Ingredient. I have experience in providing a safe space for clients dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, interpersonal relationship concerns and self-esteem issues. I follow a client-centred approach, while adopting ideas from cognitive, expressive arts and narrative schools of thought. In my personal experience, therapy has been a space for sitting with difficult feelings, negative experiences, relationship troubles as well as celebrating moments of growth, reaching insight and discussing positive moods. Apart from being a therapist, I like rewatching my comfort shows, painting on mugs and gazing at the sky.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I was curious as a child about how the human mind works and why we feel the way we do. Thankfully, the curiosity carried on through my adulthood and I could pursue a career to understand the various questions and complexities of life. My personal experiences also served as a catalyst in me being a therapist today, as I wanted to provide ethical, safe, and non-judgemental spaces that I did not witness in the past.
