9 years of experience

At times, life can feel overwhelming and uncertain, but I believe each of us has the capacity to grow and move forward, no matter where we are. In my work, I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can fully be themselves, explore their inner experiences, and move toward what truly matters to them. I strive to work from a client-centered approach and identify my therapeutic style as eclectic, drawing from a range of approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, emotion-focused therapy, and narrative work, depending on the unique needs of each client which helps them understand patterns in their thoughts and behaviours, develop greater awareness of emotions, process difficult feelings and explore experiences in more meaningful ways. My areas of experience include supporting clients with concerns such as low mood, anxiety, perfectionism, and relationship difficulties. With a strong background in research, I value staying informed about current developments and integrating evidence-based insights into my clinical practice to promote the best outcomes for clients. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and trying different foods, as well as spending time with my dog. I also like unwinding by binge-watching series and movies.

FAQs
FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I chose to become a therapist because I’m deeply interested in understanding how people think, feel, and behave. I believe that when an individual’s mental well-being is supported, they can navigate life’s complexities with greater resilience and clarity. Each person I work with brings a unique story and perspective, and I find it incredibly meaningful to learn and grow alongside them through the therapeutic process.
