I have a strong belief that every individual has the inherent capacity for self-understanding and growth. Given the right conditions, empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, clients can find their own solutions and make meaningful changes in their lives. This belief helps me commit to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I hold an MSc. in Clinical Psychology from Christ University and a BSc. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University. During my academic journey, I gained valuable hands-on experience through internships that enriched my practical knowledge and skills. In addition to my clinical experience, I have a strong research background with one published paper and another on the way. I work primarily with a young adult client population, addressing various mental health challenges. My treatment methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Gestalt Principles and Mindfulness. I follow a client-centred approach, ensuring that my clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Beyond my professional life, I enjoy reading books, listening to music, and baking.

FAQs
FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?

My decision to become a therapist was shaped by my early academic experiences in psychology. I found the subject really interesting and enjoyed learning about how people think and feel. During that time, I helped someone by just listening to them, and they told me how much better they felt afterward. This made me genuinely happy and showed me the positive impact I could have on others. That experience made me realise that I wanted to do this as a career.
