If you’re here, something in your life has probably been feeling heavier than usual. Maybe today was the day you finally said, “I need to talk to someone.” I’m glad you found your way here. You don’t need to rehearse or soften anything - just come as you are. All of you is welcome. In our sessions, I try to pay attention not just to what you say, but to what feels hard to put into words - the pauses, the heaviness, the patterns you’ve had to adapt to. I often meet people who feel stuck in their minds, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure why they don’t feel like themselves anymore. Many of them look functional on the outside but feel exhausted on the inside. If that’s you, you’re not alone. My approach is steady and collaborative. I’ll be curious with you, I’ll gently challenge things that hurt you. I’ll help you make sense of the parts of you that feel contradictory - the side that wants closeness and the side that wants to run, the side that’s tired and the side that refuses to give up. I draw from evidence-based approaches and adapt them in a way that fits you. I hope for you to find sessions grounding, clear, and relieving - like finally exhaling after holding your breath for too long. Outside work, you’ll find me listening to music, watching sunsets, getting lost in silly banter, and exploring good food. I love teaching, long drives, cooking something comforting, spending time with my dog, and being around the people who remind me to slow down and rest.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I chose to become a therapist because I believe in the meaningful impact of human connection and the power of empathy and understanding. I’ve always been drawn to the quiet, honest spaces where people finally let themselves be real. There’s something meaningful about sitting with someone as they make sense of their thoughts, their patterns, and the parts of themselves they’ve had to carry alone for too long. Therapy felt like a natural place for me - a space where listening, understanding, and slow, stable connection can create genuine change. It’s a privilege to be trusted with people’s stories, and to witness the small but powerful ways they find their strength again.

So far my experience at the clinic and with Ms. Isha has been quite pleasant contrary to what I earlier expected when seeking therapy. I am glad I made the decision to take Amaha’s service!- Google Review
