11 years of experience

I believe that each person carries a unique story within them filled with emotions, experiences, struggles, and strengths. Therapy, to me, is about creating a safe space where these stories can be shared, heard, and understood without judgment. Healing begins when you no longer feel alone in your journey, and my aim is to walk alongside you with empathy and care. I am a RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 11 years of experience. I completed my M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from CIP, Ranchi and Ph.D. in Psychology from IIT, Hyderabad, where my research focused on Positive Adaptation to Loss through Life Stories. I integrate approaches such as CBT, Positive Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, and ERP to help clients manage distress, reframe unhelpful thoughts, and build resilience. These methods support individuals in navigating grief, anxiety, and loss by fostering awareness, strength, and meaning while encouraging gradual healing through self-understanding and emotional balance. I work with people experiencing grief, those struggling with painful memories, guilt, emptiness, or family tensions surrounding loss along with anxiety and depression. I believe healing is rarely linear; it unfolds through patience, reflection, and compassionate support. Outside of work, I renew myself through walking in nature, reading, journaling, and connecting with art and community. These practices help me stay grounded and fully present with those I work with.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

Because I was fascinated by the quiet stories people carry but rarely get to tell. I chose therapy not just to help, but to create a space where someone feels fully seen and not reduced to their problems. For me, therapy is less about fixing and more about accompanying someone on the most important conversation of their life, the one with themselves.
