Why did you choose to become a therapist?

Like a lot of people, my curiosity about people and why they think and act in certain ways pulled me towards psychology. As I read and learnt more I became more and more interested in the mental health disorders and most importantly their treatments. As the learning in psychology furthered, my interest towards the subject became stronger paving a way for me to pursue Clinical Psychology. When I started working with clients, trying to understand their problems, lives, and experiences, and using the techniques I'd learned to help them, my interest grew into a strong commitment. I wanted to keep learning and help as many people as possible in this field
