I am a Clinical Psychologist with an MPhil in Clinical Psychology. I have experience working with individuals living with Mood and Anxiety spectrum disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, OCD, Stress and adjustment related disorders, individuals with traits and personality related concerns, substance use & related disorders to name a few. As both an individual and a therapist, I strongly believe that individuals possess the inherent potential to overcome problems and heal with their inner strength. A common ground between my personal values and my orientation in therapy points towards using a Person-centred approach and I am also a firm believer that accepting and acknowledging one’s difficulties paves a much greater scope in healing at a deeper level. My core strength as a therapist is in the ability to introspect deeper where I get to acknowledge both what goes on in the therapy space as well as inside me as a therapist, that makes the process more transparent and comforting for the clients. I largely work with Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, Third wave therapies, Mindfulness based and supportive work. Besides work, I involve myself in art work, researching eco-friendly and sustainable options to integrate in my day to day lifestyle.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
One major reason that has led me to be a therapist and that continues to motivate me to work better is that, as a therapist, I constantly see myself as an explorer in every aspect of work that therapy involves. The field’s scope to work with the complexity of humans and their brain function continues to amaze me every passing day. This is one of the rare fields where every experience feels different and fascinating. Further, the kind of understanding and insight I gain about myself in the profession also enriches all my other experiences - both personally and professionally.
