If you’re reading this and feeling unsure about therapy, about yourself, or about where to begin, that’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start. Sometimes the most important thing is simply allowing yourself to pause and be honest about how you feel. That’s where we begin. Hi, I’m Bhumika and I am a Consultant Psychologist with an M.sc in Counselling Psychology. I've had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, and adults who come in carrying self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or the quiet weight of not feeling “enough.” What I’ve learned is that therapy isn’t about being fixed, it’s about being understood. It’s about making space for your emotions, learning new ways to respond to them, and slowly building a life that feels calmer and more aligned with who you are. In my sessions, I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) - approaches that help you understand your thoughts and emotions more clearly, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and build emotional balance, all within a space of empathy, respect, and authenticity. Whether it’s working through anger, self-criticism, or difficulty in relationships, we’ll focus on developing awareness and balance. So that over time, you feel more in control of your inner world instead of being consumed by it. Therapy with me is warm, reflective, and gently challenging. We’ll talk, question, laugh sometimes, and sit with what’s hard when needed — always with the goal of helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward with a little more clarity, compassion, and courage. Outside of sessions, I love exploring cosy cafés where I journal or watch my favourite shows over coffee and a good meal. Cooking, baking, painting and short trips with friends and family help me unwind and recharge. They nourish me and help me approach each session with genuine care and attention.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories - the quiet struggles, the unspoken worries, the resilience that lives underneath. In my early work I saw how having a space where someone truly listens can shift everything. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural way to offer that space, not to “fix” people, but to walk alongside them as they find their own clarity and strength.

Still have questions, or just need to talk it through? We’re here to help no matter what you’re looking for, or where you're starting from.
