I chose to become a therapist because I have always been fascinated by the complexities of the human mind, emotions, and behavior. During my bachelor’s studies, my interest in psychology deepened as I explored its various dimensions, particularly therapeutic approaches. One moment that profoundly shaped my journey was a lecture where a professor shared an insightful perspective that stayed with me: “All of us face underlying issues at some point in life. When these challenges intensify, society often labels them as abnormalities or disorders. However, it is the role of a psychologist to help individuals understand that these experiences are a natural part of being human.” This idea resonated deeply with me and fueled my passion for becoming a therapist. It inspired me to support individuals in navigating their struggles, fostering self-acceptance, and realizing that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
