Hi. I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist here, at Amaha. I have completed my MPhil in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS (2023). I have experience working with clients with different mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, substance dependence and other emotional and behavioural challenges, using cognitive behavioural therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivation enhancement therapy, family systems therapy and other third-wave therapies. I aim to provide a safe space for clients to explore and understand themselves better and facilitate positive change. Additionally, I'm also interested in emotion and trauma-focused work. Outside of work, I enjoy watching and playing sports, especially football. I am also a dog parent and love spending time with my female Indie dog.

FAQs
Why did you choose to become a therapist?
I have always been intrigued by the reasons behind people's behaviour. As I transitioned from a career in aerospace engineering to psychology, I had the opportunity to delve deeper into studying human behaviour. Pursuing psychology allowed me to gain a better understanding of the human mind and the impact of mental illnesses. Then, I decided to devote myself to helping individuals and groups overcome their mental health challenges and improve their quality of life.
