The first act of healing is choosing to express, and that alone is an act of strength. If you are someone who has always held it together on the outside but silently are in a constant struggle or pain, then therapy can be the space where you finally put that burden down. I work with individuals who’ve never had a safe, consistent space to process what they’re carrying, often after years of staying silent just to cope. I’m a Consultant Psychologist at Amaha with an MSc in Clinical Psychology from JSS Hospital and Medical College. My training includes trauma-informed, expressive arts-based and cognitive behaviour approaches. In practice, this means we move at your pace with care, intention, and attention to how safety and trust are built over time. Our sessions might involve not just conversation but creative tools, or simply a space to reflect, all grounded in evidence-based methods and tailored to your needs. To wind down, I love experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and curling up with a good show or book!

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

There was no single defining moment that brought me to this practice but rather it is an amalgamation of my personal experiences and my academic journey in humanities and social sciences. I always was in awe of people and their capabilities and the field of therapy brings forth all that is human. My drive as a therapist is the sacred space of therapeutic alliance with the client where you get a window into their lives and stories and be a part of their journey of healing and growth.
