My decision to become a therapist stems from the desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. It also aligns with my appreciation for Rogerian principles—creating a safe and empathetic space for individuals to heal and thrive. The quote that inspired me, “Humans can be museums too, filled with history they can no longer touch,” helped me reflect and explore the layers of human experiences and helped me in empowering people within their narratives. Being a therapist gives me a sense of fulfillment in fostering connection, guiding others through their struggles, and witnessing their growth.
