A person carries an entire ocean within- thoughts, feelings, emotions, stories, hardships, achievements, skills, goals and so much more! And to help you through the difficult times and when you need a little more help is my goal as a therapist. I value compassion and curiosity and have lived through the experience of needing help. Asking for it seems daunting, but it's a liberating and a very brave step one can take. My perception of therapy is a slow loosening of life knots; gradually things feel lighter, clearer and change does not look so impossible. I take a queer affirmative approach and often use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), which helps you spot and shift unhelpful thought patterns so they don’t keep weighing you down. I also draw on Motivational Interviewing (MI), a collaborative style that helps you explore your own reasons for change and build confidence to move forward. I work with individuals navigating ADHD , including challenges such as time blindness (I lose track of time even when I don’t want to), mind fog (My brain feels like it’s running 50 tabs at once), emotional dysregulation (My emotions feel like a rollercoaster I didn’t sign up for) and the frustrations of daily life. I believe our thoughts shape our emotions and actions and with the right tools, awareness, and support, we can reshape our patterns to feel more empowered and resilient. Outside the therapy room, I am a spontaneous soul - someone who is in awe of the sky and finds joy in observing it, loves to drive around and explore food, culture, and art. Just as I love exploring the world, I’m equally passionate about helping you explore your inner world. My hope is that through therapy, you learn to treat yourself with the same kindness you’d offer another, and to embrace life with all its imperfections. Because flaws don’t make life less beautiful, they make it more real.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I believe that everyone deserves to have a good life and for that we all need a little help. And if I could be a part of even one person's path to a better life, why not! The curiosity to understand one’s emotions, thoughts and behaviours has always fuelled my interest in psychology.

Still have questions, or just need to talk it through? We’re here to help no matter what you’re looking for, or where you're starting from.
