One spends most of their life inside their mind. So let’s make it a nice place to be, shall we? I am a Psychologist here at Amaha who aspires to establish a fostering therapeutic relationship with the clients.I have completed my BSc. and MSc. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University Maharashtra, and have had the opportunity to work with people and professionals in both hospital and clinical settings. As a person who understands and respects every individual is different with subjective needs and experiences, I take an eclectic approach to therapy, where, I combine strategies from various schools of thought like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and other third wave therapies, in order to cater to the client’s needs. I believe that I work best with clients who aim for self-discovery, acceptance and growth, coming in with the Emotional and Stress-Related concerns, Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Issues, Grief and Bereavement, Relationship issues, and Personality difficulties. When seen outside of my role as a therapist, I am someone who loves music and singing, reading (ranging from cheesy fictions to research articles), watching anime, painting, videogames and nice long walks surrounded by nature.

Why did you choose to become a therapist?

Since my adolescence, I had always been an innate empathetic listener who people from different age groups, younger or older, loved talking about their life to. So I wondered, why not continue doing what I have the aptitude and passion for! With rigorous training, a curious and deep love for learning, along with the support from many extraordinary professionals encouraging my endeavours, here I am: A psychologist, with an ever-growing passion for Psychology, working with the clients who wish the same self-acceptance and growth.

Still have questions, or just need to talk it through? We’re here to help no matter what you’re looking for, or where you're starting from.
