If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of self-doubt, or are simply looking for a space to understand yourself better, I’m glad you’re here. Therapy can be the supportive space you need to find your footing. And while life can feel heavy, you don't have to carry that weight alone.
I view our work in therapy as a collaborative process, held within a warm, non-judgmental space where your lived experience is the priority. While you bring expertise of your own life, I provide the support and perspective to help you navigate towards your goals.
Within the therapy space, I primarily draw from narrative and humanistic approaches to help you foster growth and healing. These allow us to explore how we often get stuck in stories that label us as failures or "broken." In therapy, we can challenge these narratives and together, re-author new ones that reflect your agency, strengths, and values. I strongly believe that our lives are multifaceted, and our mental health is not only influenced by individual factors, but also by the environment, the people around us as well as the larger society we live in. By focusing on your unique experiences and interactions as well as the environment, I use a perspective that honours your worth and resilience; all within an empathetic, non-judgemental space.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll likely find me lost in a fantasy novel, painting or crafting. I also love watching animated shows and movies, be it Pixar, Ghibli or anime.
