Therapy is a word often described in varied ways. Everyone has their own reasons for seeking therapy. What you’re going through didn’t come out of nowhere. There are always stories, circumstances, people, and patterns that shape what we experience and how we cope. It’s okay to take responsibility for your healing, but you don’t have to take the blame for all that led you here.
I am an RCI licensed Clinical Psychologist and hold multiple years of experience in elevating individuals’ mental wellbeing. I believe in creating a safe space so that the sessions are a mix of learning, exploring and feeling better. We'll look into the present and past occurrences that have shaped you, and move together in developing and refining your skills and strengths so that you can cope better and function in a healthier manner. To achieve this, I use an integrative approach in therapy and incorporate principles from multiple approaches to make sure that we address your concerns holistically.
I’ve worked with individuals who’ve often said things like, “I feel extremely low and can’t get out of bed,” “It’s all my fault”, and “I constantly have thoughts running in my mind”. These reflect struggles with mood, self-blame, emotional exhaustion, overthinking, and high levels of stress. Others have shared, “I find it hard to connect with people,” or “I don’t know how to express myself,” because navigating emotions and relationships can be really hard sometimes. Some also feel stuck or overwhelmed when they try to plan, organize and carry out their day-to-day task. Many notice changes in sleep, appetite, or routine that are quiet signs that something deeper might need care.
To make sure that therapy benefits you, all I need is your support and willingness to think, feel and function better. Let's collaborate in the most effective way to facilitate your journey.

My experience at Amaha Health has been nothing short of transformative. My therapist, Akanksha, has been incredibly wonderful and helpful to me.
She has always guided me whenever I needed help. I have always left my sessions with a smile on my face and felt incredibly light-hearted after sharing my thoughts with Akanksha. Her strategies and methods have never failed me. They have always been useful to me in some way when I’m dealing with my mental health issues. She has also been very proactive and checked up on me from time to time.
These last 6 months have been truly life-changing for me, and I’ve become a whole new person because of Akanksha.
My time at Amaha also made me realise how important it is to address your mental health problems, rather than ignoring them.
I feel very comfortable at Amaha and would happily recommend this space to others- Anonymous
