I offer mental health care for individuals aged 8–25.
Aimen Naim is a clinical psychologist with experience in providing psychological assessments and therapy. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where children and adolescents can make sense of their experiences at their own pace. She holds an M. Phil. in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS and works with concerns such as anxiety, mood difficulties, stress, interpersonal challenges and adjustment issues. Drawing mostly from person-centred and third wave cognitive behavioural approaches, she aims at helping individuals become aware of themselves, hone their skills and move towards meaningful change. She strongly believes in therapy being a process of understanding and growth and strives to tailor research-backed interventions as per each individual's unique context and needs.
Outside the therapy room, she is an avid reader with a soft corner for stories with sad endings. She enjoys keeping up with and embodying desi fashion trends. Recently, she finds herself engrossed in learning embroidery, not just as a grounding activity, but also as a journey of unlearning biases around it being a "woman’s chore." She is committed to taking one imperfect, mindful step at a time towards growth.
