Why did you choose to become a psychiatrist?

I was drawn to Psychiatry because of my passion for supporting young individuals and families during pivotal moments in their lives. Witnessing the resilience of children and helping them and their families overcome challenges is deeply fulfilling. Psychiatry combines science, empathy, and creativity, which aligns perfectly with my interests and values. I was inspired by the possibility of not just treating symptoms but helping individuals and families thrive by addressing their unique challenges and strengths holistically.I believe every individual has the capacity for growth, and I wanted to dedicate my career to facilitating that journey.
