I am a psychiatrist with a special interest in child and adolescent mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
My clinical work focuses on helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care.
I integrate clinical psychiatry with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to help children, adolescents, and their families navigate challenges such as anxiety, mood concerns, attention difficulties, and behavioural issues.
My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, with an emphasis on building coping skills, emotional regulation, and long-term resilience.
Having trained and worked at institutions such as All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Christian Medical College, I have been involved in multidisciplinary care across both clinical and pediatric hospital settings.
I aim to create a space where individuals feel heard, understood, and comfortable seeking support, while working closely with families and schools to ensure meaningful and sustained progress.

My Affiliations

Psychiatrist at Children First from Apr 2026 to present
Why did you choose to become a psychiatrist?I was drawn to psychiatry because it sits at the intersection of science and human experience. Understanding how thoughts, emotions, and development shape behaviour—especially in children—felt both intellectually engaging and deeply meaningful. Over time, working with young individuals and their families reinforced my decision, as early support can significantly change long-term outcomes.
