Hello. I completed my M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from Amity University Rajasthan in September 2019 and since then have accumulated more than 6 years of experience. I am well-versed in working with individuals suffering from mood disorders, anxiety and related disorders, substance abuse, behaviour addictions, interpersonal or relationships issues, childhood disorders and developmental disorders. As a therapist I believe each individual is unique and deserves respect, dignity, empathy and a chance to have a fulfilling life. I borrow strategies from various schools of thought such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness based approaches and Positive Psychology to help clients identify the source of their problems and learn the necessary skills to manage and overcome their obstacles. My aim is not just to help them overcome and manage their issues but also actively try to move their lives and relationships in a more positive direction.

FAQs

FAQs

Why did you choose to become a therapist?Like a lot of people, my curiosity about people and why they think and act in certain ways pulled me towards psychology. As I read and learnt more I became more and more interested in the mental health disorders and most importantly their treatments. As the learning in psychology furthered, my interest towards the subject became stronger paving a way for me to pursue Clinical Psychology. When I started working with clients, trying to understand their problems, lives, and experiences, and using the techniques I'd learned to help them, my interest grew into a strong commitment. I wanted to keep learning and help as many people as possible in this field
