“Coming together is the beginning. Staying together is progress. Working together is success.” Hi! I work as a Psychologist at Amaha and have completed my Master’s in Applied Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai. Understanding the stigma around therapy, my aim as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to express themselves. I lean towards the use of CBT, narrative therapy, and humanistic schools of thought in my work. I also believe that physical and mental health are connected and hope to bring about unity in the body and mind through my work. In working together with my clients, I intend to foster a sense of empowerment in them. I also wish to aid them in the discovery of their personal strengths and enable them to make choices that align with their values. I enjoy dancing, music, traveling, and trekking in my spare time. I also am a fan of anything chocolatey and love desserts.

FAQs

Why did you choose to become a therapist? From childhood, I have been inclined to pursue a profession that works with people. As a sensitive person, I was often affected by the problems and suffering of others. As I grew up, I was keen to become a part of some significant change in society. On discovering the discipline of psychology, I realised that I had found a profession that aligned with my values and skills. I have a great passion for people and relationships, which keeps me going in my career.
