About our founders & clinical team
Our co-founders, Dr. Amit Malik and Neha Kirpal, bring the provider and user perspectives on mental health, along with successful entrepreneurial experiences both in India and abroad.
Dr. Amit’s career spans over 15 years, managing various large-scale mental health operations in the UK. He has worked with the NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, and served as a member of the Council of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the European Board of Psychiatry, and the standing committees of the European Psychiatric Association.
A global mental health ambassador with 2 successful startup exits over the last ten years, Neha brings her entrepreneurial learnings across sectors to Amaha, along with her passion for changing lives.
Our clinical team is led by experts in the field with decades of experience, and we’re looking to expand. Our goal is to put together the best clinicians in the country to fulfil our mission of delivering the best mental healthcare to our clients.
Sweta Bothra has been our Lead Psychologist since March 2016. She uses her domain expertise to direct the organisation to build therapy-based tools and offerings.
Sweta specialises in cognitive and behavioural therapy for adolescents and adults across different disorders and conditions.
